About
About this Oregon referral service
Water Damage Restoration Oregon helps people with water damage reach an independent local restoration contractor quickly, by phone, and publishes plain, sourced information to help them make safe decisions.
What this site is
Water Damage Restoration Oregon is a call-in referral service. When you call the number on this site, your own call is connected to an independent, licensed local contractor who speaks with you on that call. We do not perform restoration work ourselves, and the contractors are not our employees.
There are no forms on this site. We do not collect your name, email or address for anyone to contact you later, and nobody will call, text or email you because you visited. Anything arranged after the call, such as a visit, is agreed between you and the contractor during the call.
What you can expect from this site
- Honest informationPages are written from public sources such as the U.S. EPA, the IICRC S500 standard and Oregon agencies, and each lists its sources.
- No invented claimsWe do not publish reviews, ratings, response-time promises or credentials we cannot verify.
- Real coverageAreas named on the site come from the buyer's list of covered Oregon ZIP codes.
- Your choiceYou decide whether to hire the contractor you speak with. Check any contractor's license with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board.
Checking a contractor yourself
Oregon licenses residential contractors through the Construction Contractors Board. Its online license search shows whether a license is active and whether complaints are on file. It is worth checking before any work begins, whoever you hire.
