Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Water Damage Restoration Oregon collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices and rights you have. Effective date: October 31, 2026.
Who we are
This website, waterdamagerestorationoregon.com (the "Site"), is a call-in referral service. When you call the number on the Site, your own call is connected to an independent, licensed water damage restoration contractor who speaks with you on that call.

- ContactPrivacy questions and requests are handled by phone: call the number shown on this Site and say you are making a privacy request. Until a dedicated privacy email address is published, calling is the way to reach us.
Scope of this policy
This policy covers information collected through the Site and through phone calls you place to the numbers shown on the Site. "We", "us" and "our" mean the Site and its operator.
It does not cover the independent contractors your call is connected to. When a contractor speaks with you or works for you, that contractor's own privacy practices apply to what they learn. You can ask the contractor about those practices on the call.
Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to route your call and run the Site.
- What you say on the callOn the call you decide what to tell the contractor, such as your ZIP code, address and a description of the water damage. The Site has no forms and never asks you to type in personal information.
- Call informationOur phone system may log the number you called from, the date, time and length of the call and the general location suggested by your area code, so the call can be routed to a contractor who serves your area. If a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start of the call.
- Technical informationOur hosting provider automatically keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the time of each request.
Information we do not collect
- We do not run forms, sign-ups, newsletters or marketing lists, and we do not collect email addresses.
- We do not ask for payment card numbers, bank details, Social Security numbers or government ID.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
- We do not collect your contact details so that anyone can call, text or email you later.
How we use information
- To connect your call to an independent contractor who serves your area.
- To keep the phone system and Site working, secure and free of abuse or fraud.
- To understand, in aggregate, how many calls the Site produces and from which general areas.
- To meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
Call-in only: no outbound contact
This is a call-in service only. Your own call connects you to a contractor who speaks with you on that call. We do not make outbound calls, send texts or emails, or send marketing of any kind, and we do not pass your details to anyone so that they can contact you later.
Anything arranged after the call, such as a visit or an estimate, is agreed between you and the contractor during the call. If you want no further contact, simply do not arrange any.
Retention and security
Call logs and server logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, for billing reconciliation and for security, and are then deleted or anonymised. Call recordings, where made, are kept for a limited period for quality and dispute purposes.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, such as encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. Oregon's Consumer Privacy Act and California's CCPA/CPRA, for example, give residents rights to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, to access a copy, to correct inaccurate information, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale, targeted advertising and certain profiling. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, call the number shown on the Site and say you are making a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity, for example by confirming the phone number you called from, before acting on it. An authorised agent may make a request on your behalf with proof of authorisation. We will respond within 45 days, and if we need more time we will tell you why. If we decline a request, you may appeal by calling again and asking for an appeal; if you are not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.
Children, links and changes
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information through a call, call us and we will delete it.
The Site links to other websites, such as government agencies. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies.
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page before they take effect.
